Threatning calls

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
Sanjay KhannaSh.Shakeel has bought roof of ground floor, 800/12 Shora Kothi,Subzi Mandi,Delhi-7, which is 22 feets away from my home.
Ground floor is 80 years old & he is constructing multistory bldng on that.
I have made written complaint to MCD but nothing has been done.
Sh.Shyamlal (Counceller of our area, Ward no.9) is with him.
Now I am getting threatning calls.
Please advice.

You can file writ petition against the MCD. For the threatening phone calls make a complaint to the concerned police immediately.

give a complaint to the police, if the police does not take any action then approach Magistrate's court.

you may also file petition in HC for protection of life and liberty at the hands of erring people in case the police does not take any concrete action.

I think the right and practical approach to the problem would be to file a petition before the HC seeking direction against the builder to get the old property evaluated from the qualified engineers for its strength and life and capacity to bear the load of the proposed added floors. Once its fails, the construction could be banned by MCD. MCD and the builders could be implicated as parties in the petition.
