Pio can be a trustee of indian trust

Please Clarify,

PIO can be Trustee of Indian Trust.

The said PO never came to India. But parents and grand parents of PIO born in India and still living in India only.

PIO is Indian Citizen only and can well become the member of a trust.

There is nothing wrong in PIO becoming a trustee but the subject-matter of a trust must be property transferable to the beneficiary. It must not be merely beneficial interest under a subsisting
trust.
