Mortgage of land

A company want to purchase a land in the state of Gujarat. for the same an earnest money is to be paid to a party through an agent. the Agent is mortgaging his property to company as security for the earnest money.

Kindly share any implications of the same and what will be the stamp duty on mortgage of the same in Gujarat?

regarding stamp duty in Gujarat it is better to contact the local sub-registrar's office and to explain the details then based on that the calculation will be provided regarding stamp duty.
