Security deposit in Leave and license

I have served one month notice to terminate leave and license agreement. One month is getting over today. But now owner is neglecting to repay deposit. What action can be taken against him. I have paid security deposit in cash. Kindly guide me.

security deposit shall be returned. file a case against him by consulting a local lawyer.
