I, Dhruba Banerjee, file a section 13 for divorce from my wife in Varanasi family court. Other party (wife) now resides at Kolkata westbengal. She applied in supreme court for the transfer the case in Varanasi to barasat , Kolkata court. I have got a service of a lawyer in supreme court to file my objection for the above mentioned case (transfer pition) . but my lawyer seems to be failing to file in dew time. Now I want to appoint a new lawyer for the above mentioned case. Can I appoint a lawyer in supreme court in emergency case ??

You can change lawyer at anytime you choose.

The transfer cases are routinely allowed if applied for by wife, more so, if she is unemployed.

U can change lawyer seeking NOC from previous lawyer.

You can change your lawyer any time as advised by experts. But see what worth it is to object because your objections may not be considered by court when a woman seeks transfer of such case to her home town, so think about it once again.
