Dear Sir(s),
Q.1 – Can a Pensioner, who is having a Family Pension account at (Punjab National Bank)PNB, Agra, (U.P.) update his/her passbook from any branch of PNB in India? Since now the system is online!
Q.2 – Can a Pensioner withdraw his/her pension through withdrawal slip anywhere in PNB Branch in India? Without transferring pension account from one state to another.
Q.3 – Can a pensioner having account at PNB, Agra submit his/her Life Certificate through post to the PNB, Agra branch by certifying, sealing/stamping & verifying it (Life Certificate) through a Branch Manager of the current State location (PNB, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana) branch of PNB?

1. Yes
2. Yes, but by cheque, not by withdrawal slip.
3. No. Personal visit is quite necessary before the Branch Manager to make him sure that the pensioner is alive.

1. For passbook up-dation at non home Branch some Banks charge service charges.
2. The withdrawal at non home Branch can only be through multicity cheques, not allowed by withdrawal slip. He can use ATM card for the purpose.
3. Life certificate can be submitted by dak after duly verified by the Manager of any Branch of the PNB. Manager of other PNB Branch can do so if satisfied about identity of the pensioner beyond doubt.

It is not a legal query. It is query on procedure which can be better rep;lied by a clerk or sr peon of the any branch of the said Bank.
