sir,
i want to now the procedure for transfer the flat on my mothers name. actually right now the flat is on the name of my father but he was expired in Dec 2003 & my father did not mentioned nominee name.
I have all property papers & Death certificate of my father.
so please guide me to transfer this property on the name of my mother.

i presume it is flat in cooperative society . make an application for transfer of flat in name of mother . enclose death certifcate . society will call upon your mother to furnnish NOC of other legal heirs . on execution of indemnity bond society may transfer flat in name of your mother . or society may ask you to obtain succession certifcate from the court for trnasfer of flat
