(Querist) 02 September 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir, i want to know that what is the duration in which a person is out of prison on taking bail and does one has to give some amount to take bail
MohammedRaffiq Bijapur (Expert) 02 September 2012
Deepak if a person obtains bail then unless it is cancelled such person will not be behind bar(prison). So no fixed period is prescribed.
As regards amount is concerned, U have to pay the brief for the counsel
and if the court had asked for cash suriety then u have deposit in court.

An order of bail, unless cancelled, has to operate for the entire length of the trial. For getting bail the accused shall have to execute a personal bond, and produce a surety if demanded by the court.
