In most of the times it will help in getting bail & defence in maintenance, dowry, DV act and family dispute proceedings. many of them didn't know. i have came across many practical application.

It shows that husband is still willing to cohabit with wife despite her wrongdoings but the wife is adamant and not willing to the company of husband, so wife shall not ask for maintenance as she is not performing her marital duties.
