I NEED TWO CLARIFICATIONS WITH REGARD TO THE PURVIEW OF RTI:
1). Whether can we get the immigration record under RTI? how and where? (Because one registration was done in which one person is witnessed but at the time he was out of India)
2).Whether can we get the particulars from High court registrar under RTI with regard to the presence of a particular judge on a particular date? and permissability being a member of any association?

1. Yes from Ministry of External Affairs.
2. Yes only regarding the presence but not about second requirement.

I agree with Mr.Makkad except that Second requirement.
We can ask the permissibility of a judge for being a member of any association. But, you can not get in which association he is the member. Because that is his personal info.
