Resp. sir,
my friend living in Delhi in a joint family with her mom , sister , brother n his wife n his doughter. in her fathers house , she is a divorcee. she has some property on her fathers name and now his brother is forcing her to give her share of property to him otherwise his wife will file a DOMESTIC VOILANCE case againt her n his mother n she will have to go in jail. he got married 8 yrs. back .
can his brother file a DV case on her after 8 yrs of married life .
what she can do to protect herself.
can she file a complaint in police befor his brother .

No male person can file DV case.
There is nothing to worry.
Since the brother is indulging in unlawful activities the sister can very well file DV case against her brother and his wife.

thanks sir , but if her brothers wife can file DV case ? what she should do to protect her self as a preventative measure.

She can file. However, sister can also file DV case.

in DV case, only the female can act as Applicant while male and His relatives are arrayed as Respondent
