Necessary party in a consumer case

(Querist) 06 June 2016 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir ,
I had availed a bank loan from a bank situated in one district of Orissa. After my retirement I have been residing in another city. Can I file a consumer case making the branch of my city rather than the loan issuing branch for rendering deficiency in their service.

Yes,you can file the case in the present city of your residence provided the same bank has branch therein.

Better file the case at a place where you availed the loan and the Bank Branch is situated.
