Hindu succession act - wills

One of my friends has given me powers to administer the will with specific powers to give more or less to the beneficiaries listed in the will and manage the remaining property either to establish a hospital or use for public good. I am allowed to draw Rs.15000/- as monthly remuneration. Am I by law bound to adhere to the terms of the will or can I use monies for my personal use ?
