Signature stamp (rubber)

On what kind of a document is a signature stamp permitted? I work at an professional training students, where documents such as transcripts, marksheets, letters of attendance etc. are issued to students/their parents/other universities. Is it permitted to use a stamp of my signature

It is better to use actual actual signature to give authenticity of a document and avoid misuse or fraud.

It is not advisable to use such signature for the fear of being misused.
