Hello,
Can PF (both EPF and Pension fund) be withdrawn without Employer intervention? I have an active UAN and also need to know if there is a procedure to do it online?

w.e.f.1st Sep,2014 there are some changes in the rules.
EPF+EPS both can be withdrawn if total service is <10Y.
The waiting time is 2months after separation as employee should not be in employment for 2 months after separation to withdraw the PF.....
The PF forms Hard copy duly signed is submitted to employer fro attestation........and employer can not decline to attest........if employer doesn't attest..........other authorities e.g. BM of bank branch where member holds an a/c can attest the forms.......
IN case of active UAN EPFO and employers can easily trace the employee.....

It is always better to keep the a/c regular and be eligible for multiple benefits that it offer...
