I am contesting divorce case against my wife who stayed at my home only for 30 days after marriage.
She made dowry complaints in local police station and CAW cell. No case was registered at both places. And complaints are closed. I have returned the stri dhan in CAW cell.
The problem is that in mediation cell the mediator tell us that give money to your spouse otherwise she may book you in false crminial case. Though she has no single evidence against me. I and my parents are told that divorce laws are female biased. We have also told that in court also female are heard more.
Pls help me how to handle these situation. Why the sympathy is towards female before knwoing the truth? Why the male side is supposed to give money to female for settlement without knowing the truth?

female always weaker section, so all the officials show to her leniant, if you realy hurt from her, if you decided get divorce, better you are amicable settled and file mutual consent for divorce, or otherwise if you vengence to her, you can face the case.

Wife if remains unemployed is entitled to maintenance. This is law and not a question of sympathy.
Until the laws are changed you have to toe in line or face consequences.

Females are weaker section in our Indian Society every where they get some extra benefit in the society but that does not mean that if they commit any wrong they will not be punished according to law of the country.So Hon'ble Judges of our country are also lenient to them. If a wife who has no income of her own to meet her livelihood according to legal ethics she is entitled to maintenance. In a Calcutta case while giving Judgement of a Divorce on the allegation of adultery of a wife His Lordship Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sabyasachi Mukherjee as he was the then observed that wife was guilty of adultery even then he commented that' a concubine has also a belly to take food'.So the wife although adultery was proved is entitled to maintenance.
