Further course of action

Sir,
May be I have not been able to put across my query in the right perspective .So please suggest about further course of action in this case as the university authorities have given no reason for cancellation of the course.Also guide me on whether my case will be filed in Punjab & Haryana High Court or Patiala Consumer Court.

university is at liberty to cancel courses offered if there are not sufficient students for said course . if you have paid fees and course is cancelled you are entitled for refund

The university might of given you terms and conditions at the time of admission in a particular course like reasons.It will tell you on what circumstances the course can be cancelled either before commencement or during running of the course.If cancellation is not on any condition specified you can take the authorities to court.

Send legal notice to University if the course was cancelled without following the due laid down procedure. If the procedure was followed, negligible chances of success.

Please refer to the university prospectus and see that if there is any information about the next course of action by the university in respect of the course likely to be canceled in the event of less attendance than what is required etc or any other information in this regards and in case of any such thing already informed to you at the time admission, you lose the right to contemplate any legal action against the university.
