(Querist) 23 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hello Everyone..!I am Roopa Mukherjee,I was staying in a paying guest in Bangalore from June'2011.Beginning we paid deposit of Rs3700 and rent of Rs3700 to my owner Mrs. Shantha Raghuram. She gone to US for 6 months, she want her house to be occupied thats why she given her house to us for PG with one Care taker.

In Jan'2012,she returned from US and started asking me(and few other girls) to vacate the pg because so that she can give that house to rent to some one and get more money. We kept her convincing that dont kick us from house, but she din't agreed.

But suddenly in the month of march she changed her mind, she told me and 2 of my friends that she is going to give this house in rent of Rs50,000 to one person named "Kumar" who have 1 kid and wife, so u 3 girls can stay with them in 1 room and other rooms they will occupy. We agreed, we met Kumar and his wife, he told he will allow us to stay in room and rent will be Rs4000 p.m and deposit will be Rs10,000.We bargained, after that he agrees on Rs5000 deposit and Rs4000 rent.We stayed in that pg til March'2012 and April'2012 Mid.

One day "Kumar" left the house with his wife and kid without telling anybody.Later we came to know that he is actually absconding(with mine's and other's money. My Rs5000 is gone whom i should ask for it??.My PG owner(Mrs. Shantha Raghuram) is responsible for this.Later she came back from Ahemadabad to look into this, she clearly told us "I am not responsible, I will not pay you Rs5000".

We begged, she did not listed, she kicked us from PG,misbehaved with us,used abusive language. Please help me to get my Rs5000 back?????.

Thank You Ajay..But i dont't have any evidence.what can i do in that case?
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 23 October 2013
Dear Roopa
you want you money back or give her/him a lesson. if you want your money back then file a complaint. but my opinion is for you, forget the money & live your life without tension, because if you file a complaint or suit before court may be the expenses of the same will be more then this amount. rest as you wish.

I agree with the advise of expert Nadeem Qureshi ji.

Recovery process would be more expensive money wise and time wise associated with uncertainty of recovery.
