Mutation of property in case of death

my father had died on 12/3/13 and i get property transfered in my mother favour through relinquishment deed but i want to mutate that in my mother new name. what is the procedure for that if i want to change my mother name in both relinquishment deed and mutation of property.

Let her file an application before the concerned revenue( if agrl. land) officer or City Survey Officer( if building/plot) along with relinquish deed and death certificate of your father.
