Many tracks in newly built flat

Hi,
I have bought my flat couple of months back. The builder is just finished the construction and iam planning to occupy in few weeks time. When i checked the flat, i have found some cracks in the flat outside and inside as well(Hall, bed room & kitchen) When i checked, the builder told that it is aircracks and it will happen any new construction building nowadays and you dont need to worry for it. Its only aircracks but the basement is good. I bought the flat through 20 years bank loan, just started 2 months EMI. I need to know whether the builder informed is correct or i can take any necessary steps from my side to prevent any future loss. Please advise.

dont shift into your flat unless builder obtains occupation certifcate from muncipal corporation . at time of taking posession mention the defects in workmanship . the issue as to whether cracks are air cracks or not only a qualifed architect or civil engineer can guide you . in any case builder is bound to rectify defects if any in construction of the flat .

Thanks for the details Sir. I had a discussion with my builder and he is telling its normal air cracks and it wont impact anything other than the cracks and we cant do anything for it. I have already registered and full amount has been settled. Could you please advise what action further i can take it on this to resolve this issue.

if builder has obtained OC take possession . if flat develops leakages raise issue in writing with builder . if he refuses to take action move consumer forum for deficency in service and for comepnsation.
