Univesity derecognisation

One of my brother is student of a University , he appear
final year of BCA,he has got previous year marksheet also.

From news paper he came to know that university have been sealed and
govt declare the old or existing registration would not be valid

The university is a private university and UGC recognized

1)It is possible that my brother will not get degree ?

2)In case he get degree, later university derecognised , would
the degree already awarded by the university before derecognised
be nullified ?

Better to get this information from UGC instead of us as our opinion in that matter may not be conclusive.
