I have taken a commercial property ( Go-down) at kolkata on rent......i just want to know is there any maximum limit for increase in rent as per law...I mean, up to which limit the landlord can increase the rent..plz quote the Act and section ( Or Rule)

Please refer the new Act where slab of rent for commercial property is there.

Generally enhancement of rent depends upon the rate of inflation. West Bengal Urban Rent & Control Act is applicable in your matter.
