sir,
i have already approached the passport officials and they asked me to bring an 'COURT ORDER'. what does court order means, please give me complete details.
Sunny Gandhi (Expert) 25 November 2012
You would require a court order if passport office has the documents you submitted at the time of applying for your first passport as you might have given a date of birth certificate issued by a competent authority. In case it is just a typographical error there is no need for a court order if the error is not more than 2 years. In your case it is just one year.

I do agree with the advice of Gandhi.
