Transfer of ownership

(Querist) 14 September 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

Myself & my brother wanted to change the ownership of our current property at Hyderabad from my late grandfather's name to our name jointly. My grandfather's legal heirs are as on this day are my 2 aunts (my grandmother & my father have deceased) & my father's legal heirs are my mom, my brother, myself & my sister. Please let me know the process as per HYD SRO for TOO from my grandfathers name to our name & if you are aware, what would be fees applicable on property value.

Thanks in advance.

contact a local lawyer . you have not mentioned whether your grand father left behind a will or he died intestate . if he left a will apply for probate . if he died intestate then apply for succession certifcate .

Even if your grand father died intestate mutation is still possible.Contact a local lawyer.
If he testate a will ,no probate is necessity
Hyderabad,though desirable.
