Leakage from flat above me

Hi,

I am facing lot of problem becasue of the leakage that is happening from the flat above me.

I have infomed the person but he is not ready to act also the society is not ready to intervine in this.

What should be my next step to stop this.

File a suit for injunction in civil court.

File a criminal complaint with police to prevent nuisance.

Go to him and tell him that you intend to file the police case against you, also take one of the society office bearers with you. Chances are that he would listen. Only after you fail miserably file the case.

i preusme flat is in a cooperative society . if you have written to flat owner and offered to pay 50%cots of repairs then he is bound to rectify the leakages . the issue is whether you have offered to pay 50% for rectifying leakages
