Company is registered in India under the Companies Act as a PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY.
Who can file an affidavit on behalf of the
company ? Who can file a civil suit or
criminal complaint ? What authority is
required ? What is the relevant provision/s under the Indian Companies Act ? Please advise and guide.

Any of the Directors or any employee so authorised by the passing of Resolution of the Board of Directors.

Besides Board resolution, AOA also provide as to who can file suits or other legal proceedings on behalf of the company.Some times Power of attorney can also be given in favor of any of the officers of the Company.
