My sister husbnand is a bad man. he wants to leave my sister for other women and wants to marry the other women. but my sister is not ready for leaving. my sister husband is saying he will become muslim and then marry the other woman. he is making letter with vakil for caste change. can my sister stop this? how can this man do thhis legally is it corrct.

your brotherin law has to first divorce your sister before he remarries .
if he converts for sake of marrying again the said marriage would be illegal .
if he remarries during subsistence of his marriage to your sister your wife should file criminal case against him for bigamy .

The conversion to Muslim by Hindu husband for remarriage is called " COLORFUL CONVERSION" to deceiving the Hindu Law.
Supreme Court had already given judgement, that such tactics is not allowed, and it alone will not entitled him to divorce or remarry.
So do not worry for that.
Apart from these, if he take any other action, your sister is very well protected by different Laws that protects Woman in India
