Is it possible for a GOVT. Officer to revise the RTI Reply by himself within the file duration of 30 days?
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 03 December 2011
there is no such provision in the act, however, i feel that there is no wrong, if subsequent reply right.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 03 December 2011
Yes!
Every body should have right to amend him self correctly unless prohibited by law???

Is it so Mr. Shah?????
M/s. Y-not legal services (Expert) 04 December 2011
i feel the information officer can rectify his errors by giving further information.,
Guest (Expert) 04 December 2011
Definitely, for the purpose of truth, the Government office can supply correct information within the timeframe by issuing a corrigendum to its previously supplied wrong information, if has been passed on due to oversight or mischief by some related official.

RTI never intends the wrong information to be supplied.

I agree with experts.
