Hello Experts
I would like to know that I have given a bail to one of my relative against 326 IPC , 2 months ago and now I wish to apply for Passport , as i m planning to go to US for my higher studies . So will that Effect my passport application procedure or will their be any problem which I could face because of it ..... Please guide through the procedure ................Its urgent

I think you were enlarged as a surety to your relative.. Its not an issue for your passport formalities. Ask that person to proceed his case properly. I mean without abscond from case proceedings.

Or very simple, by stating the fact before the trial court you can withdraw your self and any one of your friend can undertake as a new surety.. Hon'ble court will not deny your prayer.

It is advised to approach the trial court and withdraw yourself from surity stating therein circumstances. You shall permnently be released from any liability pertaining to matter in dispute.

Thank you experts for your valuable reply. Would check if its possible to withdraw, as the person is very close to our family. My main concern is that I would not face any problem in Passport procedure and Visa clearance.
Visa Clearance would also not be a problem right if my cousin follows the proper procedure of the case.

Yes.. If the accused appeared regularly mean you will not get any problem. In case if he abscond mean court will summons to you for produce him. If you failed to appear mean then warrant will be issued against you.
