Is a curable disease ground for annulment?

As you opined about a medical practitioner, this disease is totally curable and moreover husband is ready to get performed surgery required for the treatment so this is not a good ground to annul the marriage and court should discard such plea raised by wife.

Yes. Your friend having good grounds to succeed his case. Since this is a matrimonial dispute, just try to convince her in the counselling day instead of contest the case against her.
