forgery

(Querist) 30 June 2010 This query is : Resolved
In a ancestral property card the one of co-owner submitted a copy of "PANCHANAMA" by forging the signature of the "PANCHS" & got entered his/ her name on property card which also is signed & attested by the "CITY SURVEY OFFICER."

What sort of action required to be adopted if a "panchanama" is found having forged signature of the "panchs" and provision under different section of IPCs for punishment?

465 of IPC, 468, 417,419. and civil suit to get it declare that he is the absolute owner of the property the got entered the name without any regd., documents is stray entry which has in valid in the eye of law.

Mr Tanwar these things are easier to allege and defficult to prove. You must have solid evidence acceptable in court of law.

Thanks respected Adv Rajeev Rajoo;
Respected Shashikumarji,
This is the matter of THANE City survey office (Tel. No. 022-25382112) where Mr.B. R. wankhede is city survey officer.
I have obtained the forge signed PANCHANAMA's certified copy from him.
Also I have got confirmed with PANCHS about FORGERY. Even they are shocked after seeing their signatures on PANCHANAMA.
Now tell me what sort of action required to be adopted?
Can surveyor (Mr. Thale) who has prepared and signed the PANCHANAMA be implicated/ made party in forgery with the person who has forged the signs?
