loss of cash due to fire

one of my friend house has accidently caught fire, all the funiture is destroyed due to fire including cash amounting to nearly 1.5 lakhs. what is to be provided to police for panchnama.

List all items destroyed in fire through self declaration to the police and if possible sources for accumulation of cash to that extent retained at residence. Bank statements if any supporting withdrawals to that extent can also be admitted by the insurance companies

with regards to cash,unless you have proof of its receipt from some source like bank or persons,it would be difficult to establish your claim before the insurance company.
