Need advice on us visa if 498a is in progress

Hi,

I need your advice on getting US Visa if 498a case against me is in progress.

I am planning to apply for US Business visa for some business visit for 15 days,
there is a false 498a case filed against me by my wife.

498a case filed 4 months ago and it is in progress, no charge sheet filed yet.

Please advice me if there will be any problem in getting visa due to this case.

At whatever stage the proceedings are pending the application u/s.498A shall be deemed to be pending complaint. Hence it will be an objection to consider your Pass Port application untill the 498A case is finally disposed off.
