Grampanchayat is pressurising me to give part of my NA plot for construction of guttar

I want compensation for the land grampanchayat want to acquire. I will be requesting them on 29.11.2013 to acqquire my land officially. Will I get benefit under new Land Acquisition act if Grampanchayat starts process in 1st week of Dec 2013
