My bank goes bankrupt

what happens to my money if my bank goes bankrupt(switch off). where i will get my money.. where should i inquire about my money.. my bank goes bankrupt 2 yrs ago but no amount received.

Which bank are you talking about?
If its assets and liabilities is acquired by another bank then you would get your dues.
Else after liquidation and paying off debt of secured creditor anything is left then unsecured creditor like you would get their dues.

sir i have FD with a co-operative bank that closed down......I dont know why that bank closed down

What were you doing since last 2 years? Every cooperative bank has an apex body which works under Cooperative Department of that particular State so enquire about the matter from that department either through RTI Act or directly by visiting personally.
