sir ,the crime vehicle seized from the possesson of the driver under ipc . the vehicle .owner not know the seizor by policr enen it known the owner not come to court and cooperate. can the vehicle return foe safe custody of the driver . need citation

The seized vehicle is case property and can be released in favor of ONLY registered owner that too on undertaking to produce the SAME AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.
