My wife is staying with me in rented house at present. Can I file divorce petition even if my wife is staying with me at present in same house?

Yes, divorce petition is maintainable even if the husband and wife reside n the same house.

There is no legal hurdle to do so but definitely it shall be very difficult for you to justify the grounds of divorce especially when you are residing with her.
