case of fraud by marriage beuro

Dear sir, me have a client who was to get marry with a girl. he contacted to marriage beauro as suggested by own relative! But, the girl who was candidate to get marry found out a call girl, so he was cheated in this metter, even me client had given about 50000 as fees also!! which section is to be applicable ! what is the effective way to get maoney back!!!!

File a criminal case under section 420 IPC in the concerned local police station wherein the alleged crime has taken place.

Yes. Though you could file such complaint but certainly that marriagge buraue will hae a disclaimer ckause which may have stipulated that the buraue does not vouch for authenticty of claim of any of the candidates. If there is no such disclaimer to which you have not agreed , such criminal action would be maintaiinable.
