Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 17 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hai friends
my friend is working in Public sector company BHEL, working as Jr.Engineer. for 3 years. recently he got job in AP state govt job APGENCO. he joined in APGENCO without resigning from BHEL, by abscanding duty in BHEL. He has done job in APGENCO for 1 month only and then he return back to BHEL.
and the questions are.
1. If he drawn the salary from both the firm for one month what is the major punishment.
2. If he drawn the salary from APGENCO for one month and same one month period if he shows in BHEL as a absent period what is the major punishment.

A departmental inquiry may be initiated and if charge is upheld and proved then such employee may even be dismissed from service because it was a full time job.

Dear Annonymous,
You are annoying.
When you say somebody knows it, it means some persons (friends) know it.
What about the Organizations? Why are you not answering?
s.subramanian (Expert) 18 December 2010
If it is proved,it would result in his termination from service in BHEL.
PALNITKAR V.V. (Expert) 18 December 2010
Maximum punishment after departmental inquiry is dismissal. But there may be prosecution for cheating.

Double employment is certainly a grave misconduct and warrant disciplinary proceedings. If proved may result termination of service.

And a dismissed employee will not be eligible for job in future in Government/PSUs.
