DO FINANCE COMPANIES LIKE "BAJAJ FINANCE" COME UNDER "THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT" ?

No. Such unaided private institutions do not come under RTI Act.

even though they are not coming directly under the act,if you want some information about them,you can use rti route,by requesting information from the licensing authority.

No. Bajaj Finance is a private company which does not fall under RTI Act.

i have not said that "Bajaj Finance" is not a private company and it falls directly under the purview of RTI act 2005.

I only said that we can get certain information about these type of companies through RTI from the licencing authorities like,SEBI,RBI etc by way of third party information.

I have came across many successful incidents wherein RTI act 2005 is indirectly invoked on private firms too.

so please do try.
