You've executed a registered will but later sold a property intended for one child and purchased a new flat. You're asking if a supplementary will on a non-judicial stamp paper, notarised, is valid, especially if you can't visit the Registrar. In India, a registered will can be modified by an unregistered codicil, provided it's in writing, signed by you and two witnesses. While registration isn't mandatory for validity, it adds authenticity. Alternatively, you can create a fresh will, which automatically revokes any previous wills. If you're unable to visit the Registrar, you may be able to arrange for them to visit your home.
