Limitation period for filing execution petition

(Querist) 16 May 2016 This query is : Resolved 
Sir in a suit for recovery filed by me the defendant was declared ex partee and decree in favour of me passed accirdingly.Now can I file execution petition immediately or I have to wait for some time as per law ?

If there is time limit mentioned in the decree then you have to wait for that time.
