Documents after property deal

Respected sirs,
after adhoc payment from a developer for a property deal original papers of the property can be handed over to the developer or not?
or it should be given on completion of the project?
please advice.

@Author, you can handover the original papers to the developer. if you want another set, you can obtain it from the registrar office where the deed is registered.
