Sir I want some clarification on the above subject . We have total 6 acres of agricultural land. my father having 6 sisters and a brother , one of his sister is unmarried she is staying with us. From 4 years they are forcing us to get the equal share in land. But agriculture is only life source for us we total depend on that . And I'm from karanataka , I heard that 20 days ago a ammendment was made by govt that married women don't have rights in their father's property because of relationship breakages and chaos in families . Is it true? Ammendment is real made? Or Al having equal share?

I am not aware of any such amendment.
If there is one then it is made effective from which date?
Can you post the link!
The experts are requested to confirm on any such amendment.
Yes there is a local law in Uttar Pradesh 'UP land and Zamindari Abolition Act'!
First of all you may confirm who is/was owner of the land?
How come brothers and sisters of your father are claiming equal share and partition?
If they do have a share by all means then you have to give the share to each claimant......................Or go for registered family settlement deed!

All sons and daughters have share in the property of parents after them if no will left by them.
