Divorce

As earlier answer that 498a filed both the places where marriage held and relative plase of wife but
sir,
I respect your knowledge, but one of my relative daughter who are fighting divorce case in jabalpur M.P.she got married in bombay and she is belong to jabalpur,after 2year still she is not able to file dowry case from her relative place, lawyer suggest her you can not file dowry case from jabalpur you have to file from bombay where your marriage held .other case like DV & maintenance u can file from jabalpur
please suggest.
