Can any one tell me that what is the limitation period to file an appeal in High Court under Article 227 of Constitution of India.

Kindly tell me the provision or any case law in this regard.

It has no limitation period but should be made in reasonable time.
The delay should be explained in the Revisional application itself.

Article 227 of the Constitution of India is a WRIT and not an appeal so the question of limitation does not apply but the grievance must be placed before the court within a reasonable time. Hundreds and Hundreds of cases under this Article are being disposed of by different High Courts in India every day so it is not possible to refer case laws as requested.
