Father's property

(Querist) 21 November 2013 This query is : Resolved 
My Father-in-law expired in july 2008 leaving behind property in mumbai & at native place without making a Will.
Currently there are 10 members as heirs including my mother-in-law.
What HUF law says?
What is the law if my mother-in law expires?

each legal heir would have 1/10th share in the property
