Esi calculation

Dear Sir,
We have been deducting ESI contributions from gross salary, minus Travelling allowances and Tiffin and washing allowances,paid to workers on per day basis at a rate agreed in terms settled.
Now our salary compiler insists on deduction on total gross salary with allowances mentioned above.pl. let us know if there is any fresh notification issued or we are right in formula of our deductions.

Recently a notification has been published by GOI vide which ESI & EPF are to be deducted on gross salary/wages of the employees/workman.
