Labour law-pf applicablity

(Querist) 13 June 2013 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Experts,

we are the company having regular employee around 1000 and contract employees ranging from Consultants, Trainees, others.. My question is whether PF and PT ( Co situated in Bangalore) applicable for Consultants or not? If what under what sections?

PF applies when employee strength is 20 or above

You being a big corporate house, can easily afford the legal fee of a lawyer then why to take help of a charity site?
