Compensation for a person who lost his life due to lpg cylinder blast

A person lost his life while saving lives of a family of his neibhor due to cylinder blast after leakage,his neighbor is consumer of LPG gas co. whose family members were saved by deceased who lost his life in this accident.. now Parents & LR of above deceased wants to file a case for damages/compensation against LPG co. as the accident has occurred due to gas cylinder blast.Kindly advice under which act/provision a can file such.Regards

Vinod Ji, if possible find your remedy under TORTS

I know you are a very hard working lawyer, you will find ample set of judgments and guidance from books upon Law of Torts.

One relevant judgment for your purpose would be Bhopal Gas Tragedy case.

However, in the mean time, I will try to find some law for you.

The liability would be covered by law of torts.It may attract even consumer protection Act but here the death was not of consumer is a constraint.
